The light will flash once when reaching the maximum brightness. Release the button to lock the current brightness, and press and hold again to adjust in reverse direction. How does the F1-G differ from the F1, and which should I choose?
The F1-G is an upgraded version of the entry-level F1 flashlight. Firstly, its main light output reaches 1100LM, 6 times brighter than 180LM of F1. Secondly, it uses a 26650 3500mAh battery for 4.5 hours runtime, longer than the 2-hour runtime of F1’s 18650 600mAh battery. Thirdly, F1-G adds a side camping light with three color temperatures and stepless dimming function. In terms of structure, F1-G adopts more durable aluminum alloy material.
Choose F1-G if you need a powerful multi-functional light for outdoor camping and long-distance use. Choose F1 if you prefer ultra-light weight (92g) and cost performance for simple daily carry.
Can I use an 18650 battery in the F1-G as a backup?
Yes. The flashlight is originally designed for 26650 batteries, and it can work with 18650 cells by using a separate adapter sleeve (not included in standard package). When using a 3000mAh 18650 battery, the runtime will be reduced to about 2.5–3 hours. The built-in Type-C port supports charging for both types of batteries.
How practical is the camping light feature for actual outdoor use?
The camping light is highly practical for outdoor activities. The yellow light reduces flying insects around the campsite. The warm soft light is comfortable for reading and organizing items inside tents. The white light provides accurate color rendering for cooking and equipment maintenance. The stepless dimming function allows users to adjust brightness freely to fit different ambient lighting needs.
Is the F1-G suitable for security or patrol use?
It is applicable for general security patrol, especially for campgrounds, parking lots and outdoor venues. The 275m beam distance, 4.5-hour long runtime and strobe mode meet basic patrol requirements. However, the front button and push-pull zoom design are not specially optimized for professional tactical scenarios.
