How does the memory function work?
When you turn off the HL33 while in any specific mode, the headlamp remembers that position. The next time you power it on — even after removing and reinstalling the batteries — it will activate in the same mode you were using previously, rather than always starting from the first mode in the sequence.
Are the batteries charged inside the headlamp or must they be removed?
Both options are supported. The HL33 has an onboard USB charging port that charges both cells while installed. Alternatively, the batteries can be removed and charged in any standard 18650 bay charger. Charging time is approximately 6.5 hours for a full charge of both cells.
What does IP42 mean for real-world use?
